Tuned to UHF & VHF Air Bands:
The uniquely designed MilTenna Omni is tuned to both the
UHF 225-400 MHz and 118-137 MHz Air Bands. The latest
version now also includes a third set of VHF elements
dedicated to the 138-140 MHz VHF band. Most other VHF/UHF
bands can typically be received as well. This antenna
can be quite esthetically pleasing compared to discones
and other multi element antennas, and it's also more efficient.
The VHF elements can be left off the antenna if desired.
DC Grounded:
A metal ground plane is not needed with this design.
Wide Bandwidth:
The core element of the MilTenna Omni design offers a
wide bandwidth, which is what makes it appropriate for
a band as large as the UHF 225-400 MHz Air Band.
Solid Construction:
The antenna is constructed of 1 1/2" aluminum tube
for the core element and solid 1/4" aluminum round
is used for side elements. No flimsy tubing or dimple
rivets are used. All aluminum is given a brushed finish.
Isolated Mast:
The actual vertical structure is comprised of UV resistant
plastic. This allows the actual elements to be raised
into 'free space', away from your metal mounting mast.
Weather Resistant:
All fasteners are stainless steel and the feed point is
protected by shrink tube.
High Quality N Connector:
Instead of the usual UHF connector that's included
with most antennas, this antenna includes a 50 ohm female
N connector, on the end of a small cable pigtail. N connectors
are more water resistant and handle high frequencies better.

FAQ
Includes Mounting Hardware:
Price includes mounting clamps to allow attaching the
antenna to any standard 1 1/4" mounting mast.
Only Partial Assembly Required:
The core antenna is completely assembled, along with the
feeder cable. The only things that need to be done yourself
are attaching the side elements, and putting up a mast.
TESTIMONIALS
"I put up the MilTenna Omni UHF/VHF air antenna
this weekend. My son and I installed it in my attic and
it receives better than my discone that is installed on
the TV tower. I received it and the cable within days
and the construction was great, not cheaply made. Thanks
for the great product."

| Cable: RG8X |
| Cable Length:
18 Feet |
| Height: 60" |
| Width: 1 1/4" |
| Depth: 3/8" |
|
Unique Design:
This antenna is designed for anyone who's interested in getting
good performance on their radio, but isn't able to use an outdoor
antenna. This is a great antenna for people who live in apartments
or condos. The Blade can also be used as a travel antenna, or
even outdoors for short periods of time.
Tuned to VHF Air Band:
Each antenna is tuned to the VHF Air Band from 118 to 137 MHz.
Ready Made: There's no
assembly necessary and 18 feet of coax (with BNC connector)
is included. (Email
to possibly request other connector types.)
Easy to Position: The beauty
of the way this antenna works, is the fact that you can position
it anywhere. Unlike using a rubber duck, you can find the one
good spot in the room that gets the best reception, but still
put the radio anywhere you like. This can also be helpful if
you're trying to move the antenna away from RF producing devices.
There's also no ground plane elements sticking out to poke you.
The antenna can easily be hung using the two loops on the back.
Unobtrusive:
The Blade design is very slim and stealthy. The antenna is only
1 1/4" wide and a mere 3/8" deep. It can easily be
hidden behind blinds, but is also attractive enough to be displayed
in clear view. The antenna's bright white enclosure blends right
into the surroundings.
Copper Elements: Elements
are copper clad, which is a better element material than stainless
steel.
Narrow Bandwidth: The bandwidth
for the antenna is fairly narrow, which can help to eliminate
intermod problems from adjacent strong signals in urban areas.
18' of RG8/X Cable: This
cable is better for longer lengths than the average off brand
RG58 cable included with most antennas (if any), and helps prevent
signal loss.
Direct Feed Point Connection:
The coax is directly connected to the antenna elements, which
means there's one less connector between your radio and the
antenna. Each additional connector can create signal loss.
TESTIMONIALS
"The antenna arrived in today's mail. Great service.
Even better than the service is the way the antenna works. I
have a Uniden BC725XLT that I use to monitor air band frequencies.
The Uniden came with a 'rubber duck' antenna that works perfectly
when I'm at the airport within line-of-site of the air traffic
control tower. I live two miles north of the airport. With the
'rubber duck' antenna, I can can usually get the airport ATIS
channel, but always with a lot of hiss. With your Air Blade
Indoor Antenna, I can get the ATIS channel so clearly that I
can hear people who were talking in the background when the
ATIS recording was made. On the airport's tower frequencies,
I can hear pilots still on the ground, as well as the controller
in the tower, even though I am not line-of-site to the tower
or the runway. Better still, I live 15 miles north of LAX...
With the 'rubber duck', I don't get LAX Ground Control at all.
With your Air Blade Indoor, I can get Ground Control and the
planes on the ground! Thanks for a terrific product. It has
more than doubled the actual value of my scanner, measured by
what I can do with it and the pleasure it gives me."
Lon S. - Santa Monica, CA
"I received the antenna this afternoon. Excellent job of protecting and packaging this great looking antenna. I did some preliminary testing with the Air Blade antenna and it works very well! I live ~15NE of KIAD and with the Air Blade, I can receive 2-way comms between the tower and air traffic in the sector. I could not get this level of performance with other external antennas. Thanks for creating a great product!"

TESTIMONIALS
"The VHF vertical was purchased for specific needs to assign a scanner to air band only. I am very impressed with the speed of delivery and custom care in packaging. The antenna performs flawlessly, I am very happy! I also tried other bands with this antenna and I was able to scan without problem, most of my PD/FD/EMS trunked systems and federal forest fire freqs. The antenna is capable of more than just the specified freq range, but I'm sure situations and locations will vary."
Don S. - Henderson, NV
"I received the antenna yesterday. A very high quality piece of work. I am very impressed. I am pulling in signals like never before. I would recommend this to anyone. I will most likely be ordering the TrainTenna soon as well. Thanks a lot!"
Jason P. - Brampton, Canada
"Received the antenna yesterday, Monday. Installed it on a 30 foot pole and can pull in the Pueblo Airport, 45 miles from my place, ATIS at 125.250 MHz. Amazing! Hope to buy another antenna from you. Thanks for all your help and an excellent antenna!"

Tuned for Mode-S / ADS-B:
Each antenna is designed to be used for Mode-S / ADS-B
reception, using receivers such as the RadarBox or SBS-1/2,
and is specifically tuned to the frequency of 1090 MHz.
This antenna can also compliment a system setup for
linking to an online virtual radar network, such as
PinkFroot's
PlaneFinder.net. (Please note that we also now have a version tuned for the less common 978 MHz service, listed at the bottom here.)
No Ground Plane Needed:
A metal ground plane is not needed with this design.
Enclosed Elements:
The actual antenna elements and feed point are sealed
inside a UV resistant plastic radome. No need to worry
about corrosion on the elements with this design. This
design also helps control friction induced static, which
can be created by wind and dust.
Weather Resistant:
Having the elements and feed point sealed in the
radome allows the antenna to be very resistant to weather
and other environmental damage. This antenna is strong
enough to withstand an ice storm, and will also do well
in a shoreline environment.
Brass Elements:
The inner elements are made from brass, which is a better

Instead of the usual UHF connector that's included
with most antennas, this antenna includes a 50 ohm female
N connector, on the end of a small cable pigtail. N
connectors are more water resistant and handle high
frequencies better. Note: Due to the high frequency
that these systems operate at, and the potential losses
that can occur through cable, it is highly recommended
that at least an RG8 size coax cable be used.
Need help choosing your main cable? Checkout the Coax
FAQ. You'll find three choices for purchasing the
ADS-B antenna below... One is the antenna alone, then
there are two options that include a small patch cable
to go between the box and your main large cable. Both
options have an N Female, so that would set you up for
needing a main cable with two male N connectors. Some
people have successfully used a large cable straight
to the box, but it is imperative that you put some sort
of physical support on the cable and box to prevent
breakage. It would also help to use a more flexible
multi strand main cable.
Includes Mounting Hardware:
Price includes mounting clamps to allow attaching the
antenna to any standard 1 1/4" mounting mast.

TESTIMONIALS
"There's been a HUGE difference... Taxiing
at SFO is now clearly visible, I've tripled the number
of Travis hits I get. I've tracked a Virgin America
flight from taxiing at SFO up past Red Bluff on his
way to Seattle! I've been tracking LAX arrivals from
Asia for 300+ miles (150+ in each direction as they
flyby). This is just incredible, and takes a big step
forward on the usefulness of the box."
Jordan H. - Berkeley, CA
"Got the antenna Thursday and installed it
today. Working very well. I'm picking up average 10-20+
more aircraft than before on any given moment. Big improvement
on lower altitude aircraft in region as well. Thanks
for good product and delivery!
Mark A. - Elkton, MD
"Just to let you know, the antenna is now
fitted, and up and running. Early indications are very
good, my coverage has improved considerably here where
I am based (bottom of a very narrow valley) This antenna
is achieving much better results than my previous set
up and is running unassisted direct to the box."
Peter E. - North Wales, UK
"Just installed the antenna this weekend.
Truly an unbelievable improvement in the number of planes
received. Keep up the good work."
Paul R. - Ontario, Canada
"Just to let you know, the aerial arrived
weekend before last and I installed it on Saturday.
What a difference, range has improved by over 120 miles
from 80 to 200-220 miles, hits at peak time from 40
to 130. Well impressed, I have to say the aerial itself
looks good and is made well. It even looks good on the
house. Thanks for supplying a superb product."
Steven S. - UK
"I bought your ADS-B antenna and brought it
to my home in Brazil. After I installed it, my RadarBox
coverage has been multiplied by 5 and now I have more
airplanes on screen. Congratulations for your terrific
product."
Marcio, S. - Brazil
"I purchased your ADS-B omni antenna for use
with my Radar Box. Having your antenna up on the roof
extended my range five-fold. I now receive activity
from Rhode Island down to Delaware from my location
on the north shore of Long Island, New York. The antenna
was super easy to put up and is very well made. It is
performing flawlessly."
Don Y. - Dix Hills, NY
"I just wanted to update you on the antenna I purchased from you earlier this year. It is currently mounted approximately 65ft up on our condo. The reception is incredible. I'm currently logging over 80 aircraft at ranges as far as 363km from my home. I'm seeing targets just over the ocean off the coast of Maine and as far west as Kingston, Ontario. Thanks again for such a great product."
Paul S. - Montreal, Canada
"I bought the ADS-B Vertical Outdoor Model antenna and experimented with mounting in several areas around our house. In the end I found that mounting it in my attic was the easiest and the signal strength is still excellent. I live in a wood frame house in Vancouver. My distance record with the antenna in my attic is 250 miles, approx 400km, a Boeing 737 at 41000ft over the Oregon coast!"
Frank M. - Vancouver, Canada
"Just wanted to let you know that the antennae arrived and I had the chance to try the ADS-B one out today. The performance is simply amazing. Getting 3-4x the range of my old indoor antenna!"
Miklos K. - Hendschiken, Switzerland
"Here are a couple of screen shots of your antenna up in the air here in Guatemala, so far I have been able to reach over 200 nm with it!"
Juan C. - Guatemala
"I ordered and received one of you outdoor vertical ADS-B antenna and am very pleased. I get consistent coverage out to 300 NM for aircraft over 35,000 feet, which is right about on for maximum line of sight from my 1,500 feet elevation, overlooking the Pacific. My field of view is also wider than with the “demo” antenna that came with my Micro ADS-B receiver. I have had to decrease the sensitivity of my receiver to avoid overdriving it on near aircraft but have been able to do so (as close as five NM) without noticeably hurting my long range coverage. I have also noted that I can follow traffic at Honolulu down to around 4,000 feet (was 6,000 with old antenna), which is again right about at (or exceeding) theoretical line of sight as HNL is about 150 NM away. Good product!"
Chuck M. - Holualoa, HI

Tuned for VHF Aviation ACARS:
Each antenna is tuned to the VHF Air Band focusing on ACARS from 130 to
132 MHz for receive. If you require an ACARS antenna that is tuned specifically to another frequency, such as 129.x or 136.x, please contact us.
DC Grounded:
A metal ground plane is not needed with this design.
Enclosed Elements:
The actual antenna elements and feed point are sealed
inside a UV resistant plastic radome. No need to worry
about corrosion on the elements with this design.
Weather Resistant:
Having the elements and feed point sealed in the
radome allows the antenna to be very resistant to weather
and other environmental damage. This antenna is strong
enough to withstand an ice storm, and will also do well
in a shoreline environment.
Copper Elements:
Elements are copper clad, which is a better element
material than stainless steel.
Narrow Bandwidth:
The bandwidth for the antenna is fairly narrow, which
can help to eliminate intermod problems from adjacent
strong signals in urban areas.
High Quality N Connector:
Instead of the usual UHF connector that's included
with most antennas, this antenna includes a 50 ohm female
N connector, on the end of a small cable pigtail. N
connectors are more water resistant and handle high
frequencies better. Need help choosing your main cable?

Includes Mounting Hardware:
Price includes mounting clamps to allow attaching the
antenna to any standard 1 1/4" mounting mast.
