Jumbo Ship's D1000 Class "Jumbo Challenger" is seen docked at the old Southwest Marine yard. This ship's cranes have a 1000 ton lift capacity. The month before this photo was taken, the ship had an accident at this location when one of the cables on the rear derrick snapped and a 600 ton load partially hit the dock. This type of tug is rare for this area. The Crowley "Sea Reliance" is spotted at the fuel dock in San Pedro. This articulated tug is the first of four double sided tugs that Crowley will produce, and has 9,280 HP. Los Angeles Harbor, CA 10/07
